The Balbina Tower is usually included as a final or intermediate stage in the routes that cover the Levantine and schematic rock art complex of Villar del Humo, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Torre Balbina is a natural rock formation of red sandstone (rodeno) that stands out for its height and vertical silhouette, resembling a large stone tower sculpted by erosion over millions of years. Its height exceeds 25 meters. Its geological age is estimated at more than 230 million years. It is one of the symbols of the Villar del Humo Cultural Park, sharing importance with the rock shelters of Peña del Escrito, Marmalo, and Selva Pascuala.

La Peña del Escrito is a group of rock shelters located in the municipality of Villar del Humo (Cuenca), one of the most outstanding sites of Levantine Rock Art and Schematic Art on the Iberian Peninsula. It is situated in the heart of the Sierra de las Cuerdas mountain range and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998 as part of the Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin.

The Chorreras del río Cabriel in Enguídanos, in the province of Cuenca, are an impressive natural site known for its waterfalls, gorges, rapids and turquoise-blue pools.

Cardenete is a town located between two rivers, the Río Cabriel and the Río Guadazaón. At the top of the town is the Castle of Cardenete where you can still see its walls.

The interior of Cuenca is full of curious rock formations, products of its geology and topography that have suffered the onslaught of erosion over thousands of years. Like the well-known Ciudad Encantada, very close to the little-known town of Pajaroncillo is this set of formations that attract a lot of attention due to their curious shapes and that are truly worthy of a postcard.

This curious rock formation nicknamed "Balbina" stands out from the surrounding landscape. It is very close to the Peña del Escrito rock art cave, making it an ideal combo to visit.

The Villar de Humo area contains one of the most important collections of rock art on the Iberian Peninsula. Among the various places, the Peña del Escrito cave stands out, declared a UNESCO Heritage Site and which contains 170 figures from the Mesolithic era, some of them from more than 10,000 years ago (circa 8000 BC).
