Sas is a village in the municipality of Sarroca de Bellera, in the Pallars Jussà region. The site of Sas has been documented since 887, when it is mentioned in a document from the monastery of Santa Maria de Lavaix, and is documented again in 986 and 1024. The hermitage and the mirador Sant Salvador d'Irgo are located at the foot of the road between Igüerri and Irgo, within the municipal area of Pont de Suert, at 1402 meters of altitude. It is a sacred place that maintains the cultural tradition after centuries.
