Obón is a beautiful town, a Spanish municipality in the province of Teruel that is located in the region of the Cuencas Mineras, in the Iberian System and in the valley of the Martín river. It is located to the south of the Cueva Foradada reservoir and highlights the tourist attraction of the Martín River Cultural Park that will not leave us indifferent.

Stretching from Alcaine to Oliete in the Sierra de Arcos, the Cueva Foradada reservoir stores the water of the Martín River, and belongs to the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation. From this point we have magnificent views of the reservoir from the road.

On the bed of the Martín River and a few meters from the town of Oliete is the Cueva Foradada reservoir, a beautiful and quiet place ideal for hot days and spending time by the water.

The Cova Foradada swamp is a reservoir that collects the waters of the Río Martín and where it begins a few kilometers further up, in the town of Alcaine. This body of water meanders through the Sierra de los Moros.

This population of about 30 inhabitants is known for the Levantine cave paintings in its surroundings.

The name of this locality has a very interesting etymological peculiarity. It really originates from the reddish material of the area, known as Rubiello, which in Aragonese resembles the word viello, old. For this reason and because of the sickle that crosses the town, it was renamed from Foz Rubiella to Foz la Viela, which was later castellanized as Hoz de la Vieja.

This reservoir accumulates the water of the Martín River, extending from Alcaine to Oliete in the Sierra de Arcos. It belongs to the Hydrographic Confederation of the Ebro.

Quadrangular building with a gabled roof. The cover is disfigured by opening a rectangular opening. It has an atrium with a semicircular arch. Good place to shelter from bad weather. It has a large porch. Although the town of La Hoz de la Vieja is very close.
