A pretty town worth a stroll through.

Good place to start MTB and hiking routes. With all services in the village, several supermarkets and bars where you can have a drink and eat.

La Portiña is a small water reservoir located north of Talavera de la Reina on the Portiña stream and next to the natural environment of the Berrocal mountain range.

A tower built in the 10th century with the objective of surveillance and defense of the surrounding territories. A place at the top of the town of Segurilla from which you can see the entire Talavera region, the Portiña reservoir, etc.

Small, but very beautiful Talavera de la Reina reservoir. There are trails to go around it on foot or by mountain bike. The Portiña Reservoir is a suitable place to relax in the shade, eat (it has a picnic area), fish and walk along the water.

Lanzahíta is the typical mountain village of the Sierra de Gredos, in the Tiétar valley. Among its houses there are still traditional buildings and it also has a very old stone bridge that helps to cross the Eliza gorge.

At the entrance from the south of the town of Ramacastañas you can see the whole of the Sierra de Gredos on clear days. A truly postcard image!

Town famous for its watermelons that was once a town of marquises, of which some manor houses remain, although some are in a dilapidated state. Its main attraction (apart from its watermelons) is the Franciscan convent, especially its rehabilitated church. The convent can be visited inside by making an appointment with the Town Hall.
