Lock No. 7 of the Campos branch of the Canal de Castilla, located in Tamariz de Campos. Like all the canal's locks, its purpose was to allow barges to overcome uneven terrain, facilitating the transport of goods, especially grain and flour.

Beautiful preserved ruins. Definitely worth exploring. Especially the tower, which is visible from afar.

Old flour factory built in 1844 and, until 1894, it belonged to various tenants or owners in charge of exploiting its use. In the 20th century it suffered a fire that meant its end as a flour factory to be used as a hydroelectric power station.
