The Gualtón Waterfall is the highest waterfall in the El Bierzo region. It is located near the town of Carracedo de Compludo and is accessible via a hiking trail that begins in the village. The trail takes approximately one hour and is of medium difficulty, with a slightly more challenging final section due to the steep terrain. The waterfall, with a height of approximately 30 meters, is especially impressive in spring, when the water flow is at its greatest. The surrounding natural environment is of great beauty, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and hikers.
