The route to Pico de la Cruz from Maraña is a wonderful experience for hiking enthusiasts. Start: Maraña Village. Distance: Approximately 12 kilometers. Difficulty: Moderate, with some challenging sections.

Another of the places with beautiful views on the Solle hazelnut grove route. The descent through the bull meadow is quite steep, it goes down well but you have to be careful in winter when the area is icy.

About 100 meters away from the official route of Las Biescas, it is worth going here to contemplate wonderful views of the Porma reservoir and the surrounding mountains.

Pico Yordas or Buríon is located 1,967 meters above sea level and is one of the most emblematic peaks of the Montaña de Riaño y Mampodre Regional Park. The ascent is perfectly signposted with milestones and does not offer major complications. From the summit we can see all the mountains around Riaño, highlighting Peñas Pintas and Pico Gilbo. We also enjoy spectacular views of the Alto de la Rasa, the Palencia Mountain, the Picos de Europa and the Mampodre Massif, without forgetting the main peaks of the Cantabrian Mountains.

We are in one of the best watchtowers to contemplate the surroundings of the Pantano del Porma. El Susarón is a summit that you cannot miss if we are in this sector of the Cantabrian Mountains. The views are impressive.

At the top, the views cover the mountains of León, some peaks of the Palencia Mountain, the peaks of Cornión and the Urrieles of Picos de Europa, the valley of Alto Porma and the blue line of the Cantabrian Sea, a splendid setting on one of the peaks notorious of the Mampodre.
