Ólvega is a municipality in Soria in the community of Castilla y León. Its origin dates back to the beginning of the 5th century, although even older archaeological remains have been found from two nearby Celtiberian forts. It is popularly known as "Niña del Moncayo", for being at the foot of this mountain, and also as "Second Numancia", for the popular revolt of 1474 to avoid rendering vassalage to the Count of Medinaceli.

At this point of the GR 90.1 you have magnificent views of the Moncayo peak.

The GR 90.1, between Ágreda and Ambel, runs through a beautiful area of dense forest with meadows in the clearings, from which you can contemplate the surroundings.

Near the town of Ciria, walking along a wide dirt road, we have excellent views of the Zapato cave.

Between the towns of Ciria and Borobia, we find the Ciria Lagoon. In the area we will find an information panel that will give us more information about the place.
