The Albufera de Anna is a treasure created by multiple water sources, which have given rise to different species of flora and fauna to build a unique landscape. It is an enclave that was already inhabited centuries ago, even going back to the Mesolithic, a period from which vestiges have been found. It is a set of lakes, pools, sinks and watering holes that lead the water to the town of Anna, and that in their course create the perfect ecosystem for various aquatic birds to make it their home. In the center of the main lake is a small island that you will love to photograph, and in its waters you will find various species of freshwater fish.

The sanctuary was built in the 18th century in honor of the Virgen de Gracia, patron saint of the town of Caudete. It is an important place of pilgrimage, especially in the month of August, when the festival of the Virgen de Gracia is celebrated.
