素晴らしい自転車道とハイキングコースが、バルクシュテットの教会へと続いています。 この教会は1801年に建設され、1802年9月21日にケルステン牧師によって奉献されました。当初は塔がなく、教会敷地内には鐘楼がありました。 教会敷地内には戦争記念碑があります。 1867年に建てられた教会の塔は、1954年から1958年の改修工事中に、重大な欠陥のため取り壊されました。1958年12月14日、3つの鐘を備えた新しい塔が奉献されました。 1972年まで、いくつかの改修工事が行われました。1973年には、教会に4つ目の鐘が設置されました。 1993年には新しいコミュニティセンターが建設され、2008年には祭壇の壁が新しくデザインされました。 2010年9月5日、教区は創立777周年を祝いました。この教会は聖プリムスに捧げられています。
