Circo de Gredos, a cirque formed by a glacier, covers approximately 33 hectares. The barren, rocky, high-mountain landscape of this cirque is spectacular and one of the absolute highlights of the Central System. To the north, at the foot of the Almanzor, lies the Laguna Grande lake.

From this point it is difficult to see that it is a circus, but it is breathtakingly beautiful.

If you're coming to this area by bike, the Gredos platform is clearly a must-visit, along with Serranillos, Mijares, Centenera, and Puerto del Pico.

The Port of Candeleda is a natural balcony with impressive views of the Tiétar Valley and the southern slope of Gredos.

In this part of the path, on both sides you can see the Sierra de Greos with the Río Tormes that collects the waters and to the north, the town of Navacepeda de Tormes.

Romanesque bridge that is located close to the bridge that is also on the other river, the Pozo de las Paredes. Nice area to take a break in the middle of the route!

Beautiful water dams in this area of the Río Barbellido, where you have to be alert when crossing the bridge but the views of the river itself are worth it.

Beautiful lakes of glacial origin that appear near La Plataforma. And not only is the group of lakes beautiful, but also the path that takes us there!
