Navarrete is one of the key points of the Camino de Santiago in La Rioja. A good place to get water and continue the route.

There is no cyclist who does not pass through this town and stop at its fountain to get water. It is also a very good starting point to ascend to the summit of "El León Dormido" along any of its hiking routes.

From the Briones castle there is a spectacular view of the Ebro River and the surrounding vineyards and, in the background, the limestone ridges of the Alava mountains.
