Within the immense walls that the Matarranya River has formed in this area, there used to be this railway line that crossed the same line, joining a bridge and a tunnel. Now only the remains remain.

Located at the top of the hill, about seven kilometers away and with beautiful views of the town of Nonaspe, we find this building that was built as a watchtower during the third Carlist war in the 19th century to dominate the Matarraña valley.

Beautiful views of the Río Matarraña from the bridge that separates Aragon and Catalonia. From the beginning of the bridge on the Aragonés side we will see the popular mouth of the Peña Bugarreig railway tunnel (Property of Cultural Interest)
