The Mirador de Peña Bermeja is a fantastic viewpoint from which to contemplate beautiful sunsets over the endless plain of the Henares River valley and the horizon of the Guadarrama mountain range.

It is untreated water but it is perfectly safe to drink.

At this point you can decide to go to Santorcaz or Santos de la Humosa

In this historical complex there are: the archiepiscopal palace, the Tenorio tower and part of the medieval walls of the city. The archiepiscopal palace, from the 14th century, was fortified. Currently some sections of the wall are preserved and the palace continues in use.

Beautiful walk to the Mirador del Pico Peñabermeja along a red dirt road, you will reach incredible views of the Henares Valley.

The Magdalena path runs close to the riverbed of the Henares river, in some sections the riverside vegetation creates an enchanting landscape.

The intense color of the earth of this hill is what gives it its name. You can see the municipality of Santos de la Humosa and the surrounding countryside.
