On this section of the Via Verde you drive through many tunnels (as the path runs on the former railway line). Many of the longer tunnels are illuminated, the light is switched on via motion sensors. Well done! But some tunnels are also unlit (perhaps lights are still being installed?). So think about a lighting system if you want to cycle the route!

Wide, either paved or finely gravelled, this section of the path is great to ride (best with a gravel bike, but can also be ridden with a racing bike).
