Utiel is a charming municipality in the Valencian Community, Utiel is famous for its wineries and wines. You can visit several local wineries and enjoy wine tastings. The region is known for its red wine, especially Bobal. Don't miss the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, a beautiful Gothic building. You can also visit the Sanctuary of El Remedio, located in the Sierra de Utiel.

The city of Utiel is not only recognized for its good wines but also offers many places of interest to visit, including the Plaza del Sol, the Wine Museum, underground cellars and several churches. You can follow a tourist route through the town center visiting several of these sites or also visit one of the renowned wineries.

This is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies, the patron saint of Utiel. Its construction dates back to the 16th century, and it is said that work is still underway today. Inside, there are pieces of significant cultural, historical, and religious interest, as well as the crypt of Juan de Argés, known as the first hermit.

The temple has two good covers, similar in their simplicity and layout, within the Herrerian style, facing Santa María Street, which is the main one, and the Town Hall Square.

Beautiful temple, its main part belongs to the Gothic style, dating its construction from the 16th century, adding at the beginning of ours the Chapel of the Communion, of pure Neo-Gothic art. It is the most artistic monument in the city and its superb tower stands out, which is an impressive tetrahedron located in the northern part. The interior offers a long nave of 38 m. long by 23 m. wide, with a ribbed vault of 25 m. Tall. With eight chapels, four on each side and head with a flat central chapel and two apsidals. They are separated from each other by masonry walls, which have semi-helical columns attached to them, topped by small capitals with shields and supporting angels.

This section of the trail is great fun, with small ups and downs and beautiful views that keep the route dynamic and entertaining, and it also passes under the local road to connect with the GR that links Casas de Medina with the Ermita del Remedio (Utiel), combining sections of track and path in a natural environment.
