The Viaduct on the Sierra de Alcaraz Greenway is part of a spectacular route that follows the old, unfinished Baeza-Utiel railway line. This greenway, ideal for hiking and cycling, stretches from Albacete to the town of Alcaraz, passing through a wide variety of landscapes, from agricultural plains to mountainous areas.

Many former railway stations can be admired here on this route.

There are several viaducts that you will find on the greenway, but this one in particular stands out for the radical change of landscape when crossing it. You enter a more rugged and colorful terrain with the mountains and Alcaraz in the background.

The old Robledo station has been recovered as rural accommodation. It is the best option to spend the night without deviating from the greenway. Just one kilometer away is the town of Robledo where there are bars, grocery stores and a pharmacy. If your objective is simply to make a stop before continuing on your way, you can find a rest area with shade, drinking water and information signs a few meters from the road.

Shortly after the start of the Via Verde not far from Alcaraz there are two great viaducts and a tunnel. Very beautiful landscape.
