Valls is an interesting inland town in Tarragona. Among its main traditions are the Castellers, symbolized by a monument to the children in the shape of a human tower in the town center. It is also known as the birthplace of the calçotada, a typical Catalan dish in which spring onions are grilled over hot coals and served with a rich almond and spice sauce, likely derived from the fertile surrounding farmland. Furthermore, Valls boasts a historic center that still exudes a medieval atmosphere, with numerous well-preserved buildings that are well worth a visit.

The Vallespinosa castle is located in the upper part of the town, dominating the forty houses that make it up. It is possible that the fortification dates from the 11th century, although today it is in a state of ruin.

The castle of Saburella dates from the 13th century and is located on a hill on the right bank of the river Gaià, in the Alt Camp region. Its state of conservation is much better than that of the neighboring castle of Semella, as it maintains one of its towers almost intact, as well as remains of other towers and the wall.

Located at the foot of Tossal Gros and the Sierra de Miramar, Figuerola del Camp is a small town in the l'Alt Camp region (Tarragona). It appears for the first time in records at the end of the 10th century, forming around the church of Sant Jaume. Figuerola has a diverse cultural and natural heritage. The Mixarda tower, to the southwest of the nucleus, served as a fortification and surveillance in the 15th century. Near this tower, the Cova del Gat houses a collective tomb from the Neolithic era. The town has several museums: the Ethnographic and Historical Museum, the Iberia Archeology Museum, the Numismatic Collection Library and the Museum of Arts and Crafts.

No water comes out of the original fountain, made of cement and with a plaque with the relief of a bird and its name. Just behind is the new fountain, done in red brick and tile.

Cabra del Campo, as it is called in Spanish, is to the north of the Alto Campo region and on the border with the Barberá Basin. It has more than 1,250 inhabitants and its economy is based mainly on rainfed agriculture.
