This bridge connects Spain and France. Completed in 1915, it has witnessed many refugee movements in both directions. It is now a pedestrian/bicycle bridge.

It is interesting to leave IRUN via the new footbridge that connects Santiago and Plaiaundi. In fact, on one of my routes I leave the centre of IRUN and go to Plaiaundi  and take the new cycle path that takes me to Ficoba.  From there I continue to Behobia  I take a circular route along the Hendaya cycle path  returning to Ficoba.
