Vilalleons is a town located in the municipality of San Julián de Vilatorta, in the region of Osona, province of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It is accessed by the local road BV-5202 which starts from San Julián de Vilatorta. As of January 1, 2010, its population was 128 (61 men and 67 women). The place name first appears documented in the year 927 with the form Villa Leonis. The church of Santa Maria de Vilalleons has been known since the beginning of the 11th century. In 1941 the municipality of Vilalleons merged with that of Sant Julià de Vilatorta.
