Cool trails and amazing landscape

From La Santa towards Famara or inland there are many possibilities for doing circular routes, through very interesting areas with sandy paths and volcanic areas.

When most people in Lanzarote hear the term 'La Santa', they think of the 'Club La Santa (CLS)'. But there is actually a small port town with 1,050 inhabitants (2020) that is really worth seeing.

ATTENTION: The 'Parque Natural de Los Volcanes', the 'Parque natural del Archipiélago Chinijo' and also the 'Timanfaya' National Park have tightened the rules for hikers and mountain bikers in these protected areas since 2022. Please stay on the marked paths and only use recognizable trails when they are open.

The Timanfaya National Park, as well as the Los Volcanes and Chinijo Archipelago Nature Parks, have clear rules regarding the use of trails and tracks. Enjoy off-roading, but no extra tours in the terrain. Please follow the guidelines and prohibitions.
