The Hermitage of San José in Busot is an 18th-century church. It is distinguished by its Latin cross floor plan and thoughtful architecture. With a three-part nave and chapels between the buttresses, this hermitage is connected at one end to the sacristy and the former hermit's house. Particularly striking features of this hermitage are the polygonal facade with a flat-arched portal, a niche with a relief of San José, and a round oculus that illuminates the interior. This building regularly serves as the site for important events for the community, such as the floral offering to the patron saint during the Moors and Christians festival and the Three Kings' procession on January 5th. The Embalse del Amadorio between Villajoyosa and Orcheta is an attractive destination for cyclists, just four kilometers as the crow flies from the Mediterranean Sea. Spectacular views of the clear, turquoise water shimmer in the sunlight, while the surrounding mountains are picturesquely reflected in it, open up again and again around the reservoir. The paths are well-maintained, partly paved bike paths, partly quiet back roads, and invite you to take a relaxing ride. Numerous rest stops along the way offer opportunities to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, the vibrant colors of the water, and the impressive mountain backdrop – a perfect stretch for cyclists who want to combine landscape, nature, and proximity to the Mediterranean.

Generally on weekends there are roads very busy with cars, motorcycles and cyclists, if it is summer make sure to bring water, in August there are good places. If you go up from August you can go down the service road, or go towards Tibi, Castalla and lengthen and go up =)
