A joy, a reward after the effort of the climb.

A very "mountainous" peak, although it is difficult to go up... and down. Above, except for the wind, it's not bad.

The top of the Txurregi at 1121 meters above sea level is one of the classics in the Community of Navarra. It is ascended by paths with medium to high difficulty and you can choose one or the other as well as make a circular route or come and go along the same path. It is advisable to start from Ilzarbe or Ollo.

The top of Lizarrusti has a large parking area, with a fountain, children's playground, tables with benches, many information panels about Aralar, the park, the megaliths, short and long routes... There is also the Aralar parketxe with more information and a restaurant with bar and hostel.

This hermitage is really beautiful, it is worth it, the hermitage and the views.

This mountain pass is located right on the border between the Basque Country and Navarra. From here you can make many excursions to the Aralar Natural Park.

The trail runs through the forest of natural wonders and reaches the Tontorraundi crest, as the northern mountain range is known. The path follows the edge of the rope and leads to the calcareous cliff where the Bargagain iron cross is located, a magnificent natural balcony. To the north the silhouette of the Aratz and the Aizkorri crest. And a little to the right the Txindoki and the relief of Aralar. The path descends from the cliff and continues along the rope.

Pleasant loop in the Basque reliefs although with a little too many wide paths (4x4) for my taste.
