La Torre de Alcaufar is located on the southeast coast of Menorca, in the bay of Alcaufar, near the town of Sant Lluís. It was built in the 18th century, specifically in 1751, during Spanish domination, with the purpose of monitoring and defending the coast against enemy incursions. The Mercado des Pescadores is worth a visit. Delicious tapas, Menorcan cheese, sausage fish, plus a good drop 😋. The atmosphere can't be beat!
