The Polvoranca Park is located in the municipality of Leganés in the southern part of the Community of Madrid, west of the M-406 route. It offers everything you can think of to spend a beautiful day, recreational areas, trails and bicycle paths, bird observatory and you cannot miss visiting the María Pascuala Lake. The Botánico de Polvoranca Park offers a peaceful and pleasant walk through its somewhat neglected but still charming botanical garden. Visitors can enjoy unique species and birdwatching opportunities while rolling along well-defined paths that are accessible for all. The park is recommended for guided tours available at the CEA of Polvoranca and provides a relaxing environment for families to explore nature.

Excellent for dirt trails without touching asphalt. Wear appropriate clothing to avoid the sun, as there is shade, but not on the longer trails. I recommend going in the morning, as the return journey is quite arduous, especially in summer.

Nice place to make a stop, gain strength and climb "the little hill" on the way to the ball

The route to the Teja fountain is a fairly flat route, without much unevenness, and it is one of the most popular destinations for runners — ideal for training. The fountain is an old cattle watering hole where you can take a break. Next to the fountain is the Hermitage of San Isidro, built as a cave, taking advantage of the mountainside.

A great highlight and great photo opportunity. Definitely recommended for history fans.
