If you are not in good physical shape or your knees do not allow you to climb slopes, it is not recommended. To get there, the route is marked by road and is shaded, although the environment is very very beautiful

This dam was built in 1960 and created the Compuerto Reservoir. This area is a charming attraction for tourists with trails and views galore.

This is another small town not far from Guardo that you could pass through during a mountain bike route. An interesting fact that not many know is that Villalba de Guardo was classified in 2019 as the town with the highest air quality in Europe, that is, the cleanest air in Europe.

Muñeca is a town just 3 kilometers from Guardo. It has a small population of less than 100 inhabitants. It's not a bad place to start a walk or leave the car when you go out on an adventure. It is easily accessible from the Puerto de Cerredo - Aguilar de Campo Highway.

Along the Las Doncellas del Hoyal trail you will find this peculiar heart-shaped lake. There are also great views from this location.

The Sanctuary of the Virgen del Brezo, located on the Palencia Mountain, is a temple of great devotion and the scene of a popular pilgrimage. At an altitude of 1,400 m, in the Sierra del Brezo, the sanctuary houses the Romanesque carving of the Virgin of Brezo. Built in the 13th century and renovated in the 18th century, the sanctuary has a church, chapel and guest house, and offers peace and natural beauty to its visitors.

Built in 1960, next to the Camporredondo reservoir, it guarantees the irrigation of 50,000 hectares of crops. It forms part of the "Ruta de los Pantanos" next to the Aguilar de Campoo, Ruesga, Requejada and Camporredondo reservoirs.
