Beautiful route and hermitage

An incredible Marian sanctuary in a unique place, high on the rocks above the El Grado reservoir and with privileged views of the different peaks of the Aragonese Pyrenees. It has an outdoor walkway with information panels, as well as a hermitage (somewhat separate) nestled in the rock.

Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Carrodilla. The sanctuary has various rooms (house, patios, corrals, porches...) of which the church constitutes the main building. The current temple, built between the 14th and 15th centuries, is made up of a nave to which several chapels added later open. The interior stands out for the harmony of proportions, for the excellent stonework and for its sober elegance. Today a popular pilgrimage to the temple is still celebrated.

The sanctuary of the Virgen de la Carrodilla is located in the mountain range of the same name. The temple was built between the 14th and 15th centuries and preserves various rooms. Due to its beautiful proportions and its location in the middle of nature, surrounded by almond fields, the climb to the sanctuary is a popular excursion in the area.

The Sanctuary of La Carrodilla is a group of religious buildings of different dates in honor of the Virgin of La Carrodilla. The main building is made of stone and dates from the 14th or 15th century. Legend has it that the Virgin appeared to some charcoal burners in the Sierra de la Carrodilla, hence the tradition of venerating this evocation.

Completely unexpected, a bike path

Hermitage belonging to the municipality of Estadilla. Used as a hostel until the 19th century because it was located at a crossroads, it is believed that the hermitage dates from the 15th century. XII.
