Pico or Risco del Amor is the highest point in the Sierra del Castañar mountain range, at 1380 meters. The climb will make you sweat, but once you reach the top, it will have been worth it, as you'll be rewarded with the best views of the Sierra and the Dehesa del Castañar.

The Plaza de los Moros is one of the two important peaks of the Sierra de Malagón trail. The other peak is Cerro Amarillo and it is a short distance down the same trail from here. It's all uphill up here, but the views are the reward.

From the road you can already see the antennas at the top of the Calderina and even if they seem too far away, I guarantee that it is worth climbing to the top. While the new highway goes through a tunnel, the old Camino de Yébenes climbs over this ridge with sweeping vistas to both sides. A little side track leads further up along the western ridgeline to some outstanding windmills.
