If you are going to do the circle from Gastiain, I recommend going up the SE, through the hanging valley, and down the SW. Otherwise you will get lots of pebbles for the descent.

The trail runs through the forest of natural wonders and reaches the Tontorraundi crest, as the northern mountain range is known. The path follows the edge of the rope and leads to the calcareous cliff where the Bargagain iron cross is located, a magnificent natural balcony.
