The Hermitage of San José in Busot is an 18th-century church. It is distinguished by its Latin cross floor plan and thoughtful architecture. With a three-part nave and chapels between the buttresses, this hermitage is connected at one end to the sacristy and the former hermit's house. Particularly striking features of this hermitage are the polygonal facade with a flat-arched portal, a niche with a relief of San José, and a round oculus that illuminates the interior. This building regularly serves as the site for important events for the community, such as the floral offering to the patron saint during the Moors and Christians festival and the Three Kings' procession on January 5th. What a shame that this unique place is so ruined by the amount of waste that is carelessly dumped. This gives a stain on the beautiful lagoons.

Great view but the descent after the paraglider take-off point is very dangerous

You definitely need a decent light for this tunnel! Two other tunnels along this section also are long enough to be pitch black in the middle. The tunnels are concreted so the surface is good with no lumps or bumps. My wife’s electric bike has almost a cars headlight but even with that she said she got disoriented. It’s panic mode without a decent light. Note also that some tunnels have a very high kerb along one side, if you hit one you’ll be on the deck, so beware.
