The Sierra de las Moreras is a protected natural area on the coast near Mazarrón, in the region of Murcia, Spain, known for its beautiful Mediterranean landscape of palmitares (palmetto palms) and tomillares (thyme thickets), unique rock formations such as the Erosiones de Bolnuevo, and abundant birdlife, including the Bonelli's eagle. The area offers walking routes, including the climb to the top of Morrón Blanco (492m) with views of the coast, and is a refuge of undiscovered coves such as Cala Amarilla, ideal for nature lovers.
