A very beautiful peak. Its striking shape attracted me from a distance. That's what a mountain should be like. Some climbing required. Great view. The Chablais is a very beautiful mountain range. Visible as far as Mont Blanc.

The Col de Cou, at an altitude of 1,117 metres, takes you from the Vallée Verte to the Côte-en-Chablais region. Several roads lead there, which allows you to train by varying the routes and difficulties. The hardest climb is the one on the western slope from Fessy, with seven kilometres at an average of 7.5%.

A must-have when visiting Thonon les Bains. The château can be visited. The tour takes you through the rooms, the former moat and the castle garden. If you are a little water lover, you can cool off with your kids beforehand or afterwards in the nearby seaside resort.

Even though the funicular ride isn't free, it's definitely worth it. With the ticket you can also take an hour's bus ride. The views are fantastic. It's truly an experience!
