The village of Tavers is crossed by "Le Lien," a peaceful river that rises near the hamlet of Feularde. It receives several springs, fed by the Beauce aquifer. The "Fontenils" spring is the most beautiful: the gushing water creates bubbling formations known as quicksand. The clay bed, the water's clarity, and its very low mineral content give it a translucent blue appearance. These Blue Waters are what Tavers is famous for! Follow the hiking trail "The Blue Waters and Turning Stone Trail."

Beautiful stretch of water to take a break. Leisure center in fine weather, you will find a beach, a picnic area, toilets and a café (open from April to October on weekends and during the week during school holidays).

If you are looking for a peaceful and natural place to stop off during your hike, you can visit the Courpain nature reserve, a 13-hectare space located at the confluence of the Loiret and the Loire. This site is part of the Saint-Mesmin nature reserve and is home to a forest rich in 23 species of trees and 15 species of shrubs. You can enjoy the seasonal beauty of this place, such as the white carpet of snowdrops in March, the concert of birds in May, or the white rafts of water crows on the Loiret in June.

Etang Neuf in Ingrannes is a small lake surrounded by a forest of oaks, beeches and pines. You can enjoy the tranquility of nature and observe the birds and animals that live in the area. It's a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.

Parallel to the Loire, this beautiful pond offers beautiful views of the surrounding area including Orléans Cathedral. There is also a leisure center and a beach.

Located in the communes of Châtenoy and Coudroy, the Noue Mazone pond belongs to the supply system of the Orleans canal. With a surface area of more than 36 ha, it is one of the most remarkable ponds in the Orléans forest. Many protected species are listed on this site, such as the reed bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus) and the night heron (Nycticorax nycticorax), classified as vulnerable on the regional red list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) or the stump lizard (Lacerta agilis), an endangered species on this same list. A paradise for fishermen, this body of water is open to navigation by boat (electric motor only) and by float-tube. It is also the subject of a predatory no-kill. Dampierre-en-Burly has two ponds: the Etang du Bourg to the north and the Etang du Grand Moulin to the south. In their very bucolic setting, both are popular with locals on Sunday walks.
