This is a small, typical Catalan village at the foot of the Canigou massif, but away from the tourist circuits. Organized around a charming main square, it is located at an altitude of 700m. This quiet rural town which seems to slumber under the Mediterranean sun has only 68 inhabitants left, after having experienced a population peak of 577 inhabitants in 1846. This atmosphere deserves a little deviation from the Col de la Palomère road.
