Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall) Initially known as the Hôtel de Conti, the Hôtel de Ville of Versailles was the residence of Marie-Anne de Bourbon, Princesse de Conti, an illegitimate daughter of Louis IX. After numerous expansions at the end of the 19th century, the building, acquired by the city in 1859, was finally inaugurated as the town hall in November 1900.
