Magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Roussillon plain with Mount Canigou directly opposite. The wind can sometimes be strong at the summit. Also accessible from Pezilla.

A very beautiful hike. We're on high ground almost the entire time, with a beautiful view of the entire region. I highly recommend it except on hot days. There's very little shade.

Little is left of Tautavel Castle. It was a medieval castle from the 11th century, it was destroyed with explosives in the 17th century. The castle is on the route to Torre del Far.

Rivesaltes is a small town which is famous for its vineyards and the production of Rivesaltes natural sweet wine, a controlled designation of origin. This town is also known for its historical heritage, such as the Notre-Dame-de-la-Compassion church which dates from the 17th century, as well as the local market which is held every Monday and which offers a variety of local products and culinary specialties.

The castle of Tautavel is easily accessible from the village and offers a magnificent panorama.

Beautiful, well-kept old town center. Be sure to walk around the medieval castle (chateau): in the middle of the castle walls from the 12th/13th century there is a beautiful small garden and a few beautiful, small, more recent residential units have been added.
