Nice little stop in the middle of the forest. Most people came by car though. Luckily not on my forest road.

Pretty little unguarded cabin where it is possible to shelter and sleep. Ideally located on a vast plateau, it offers a breathtaking view of Mont Aiguille. A spring flows all year round a few meters away. A little further away are the resistance memorial and caves.

Located at an altitude of 1,500 meters at the Col de l'Arzelier, the Soldanelle refuge was built in 1968. Its terrace offers a breathtaking view of the valley. You can sleep there in both a dormitory and a yurt. The refuge is not manned all year round. All the information here: https://www.lasoldanelle.com/refuge/.
