Spectacular view at the junction with the Route des Aiguilles leading onto a track overlooking the gorge.

This detour up high offers superb views of the walls of the Gâts gorge.

Approximately 4 km of climbing at around 5% from the Grenoble road. This road is an unpleasant traffic-filled route, with the Col de la Croix Haute to the north. The road towards the Col de Grimone, on the other hand, is quiet with beautiful views.

It's a small pass that connects Lalley and Mens. It reaches an altitude of 900m. At the summit, there's a beautiful view of the Dévoluy mountains.

magnificent little walk to do

On the edge of the Vercors plateaus, there are superb mountain roads that combine elevation and charming landscapes. The D 539 is one of them.

Mens is a small town with an important architectural heritage. In particular, there is a hall dating from the 15th century and listed in the register of historical monuments, like the Church of the Assumption of Mens, built in the 12th century. Several hamlets and farms are added to the main town. You will find a few shops and cafés in the town centre, as well as a campsite.

Châtillon-en-Diois is located in the Drôme, at the foot of the Vercors Regional Natural Park. It is a beautiful medieval village.
