Summit that offers a superb panoramic view with orientation table. You will be able to spot the peaks that are visible from this point of view, including several of the +2000M of the Bauges (Trélod, Arcalod), Margériaz, the REvard, the Dent du Chat, the Roc des Boeufs, Col de Leschraines, the Tournette, the Parmelan. Be vigilant and quiet too, we were lucky enough to see about 20 chamois quite close!

Really pretty village with places to stay and shop. For all like-minded cheese fans: There is a great cheese shop and a cheese museum next to it!

The "summit" is unspectacular, as it is almost at the edge of the road. But the view is bombastic and this is where the (optional) ascent to the Colombier begins.

Pretty village in the peace of the Bauges massif.

Mont Colombier rises to 2,043 meters above sea level. From the top, the view is incredible! You can admire the Belledonne chain, the Bauges, Mont Blanc, and the three lakes in the region: Bourget, Léman, and Lake Annecy.

It is a superb pass located at an altitude of 1694 meters. From there, you can admire the entire Belledonne chain, the peaks of the Bauges massif, and the Rochers de la Bade. The Col de la Cochette is dominated by the ridge of Mont Colombier. It is a magnificent spot!

It is a pretty mountain village. There are several lodges and a public fountain.
