Members are assigned their seats depending on their faction affiliation. Members who do not belong to a political group will be allocated places in the non-attached member section. There are two plenary hall plans: one for Strasbourg and one for Brussels. They are updated for each meeting. A tourist attraction in Strasbourg. This central square, which has been redesigned repeatedly over the centuries, is now a pedestrian zone and is frequented by locals, tourists and numerous customers. In 2007, Place Kléber was completely redesigned according to the plans of landscape architect Gilles Clément. The Place, with its flowerbeds and fountains, hosts numerous cultural, club, sales and sporting events throughout the year. On three sides, the place is lined with rows of houses from a variety of eras, from the Middle Ages to the end of the 20th century.

Place du Château (in standard German and in Alsatian dialect Schlossplatz) is located in the Grande Île of Strasbourg. Built in 1215, it changed its name several times.
