There's a short educational tour around the tower about cork and resin extraction. Unfortunately, it's only in French. It's nice and cool inside, though. There's a small entrance fee. There's no kiosk. You have to go into the village.

The Église Notre-Dame in Lit-et-Mixe dates back to the 15th century, but the beautiful tower was not built in its current form until around 1900. The church is open during the day and invites you to linger for a few minutes in silence, rest, and reflection.

Caution in summer, many families

The lighthouse is worth a stop to enjoy the expansive view over the pine forests and the sea. Several bike paths and trails lead to the lighthouse, each more or less suitable depending on the bike.
