This Parking is signposted from the road for the Voie Verte - Via Rhôna. If you cross the bridge to Le Pouzin, you have the bike path at the side. As mentioned on that highlight it is quite narrow and with modern MTB handlebars of 700mm you have to be careful.

The owner of the Aubergistes restaurant is also the owner of the very nice Hotel Restaurant La Conserverie. Very nice retro interior. No two chairs or tables are the same. Also a nice terrace

8 million years ago, the Ardèche river flowed in a valley of which Rochemaure was the confluence with the Rhône. Volcanic activity blocked this valley to give rise to the Coiron and the dyke where the Rochemaure castle is located. All the hills around Rochemaure are basaltic.
