Built between 1228 and 1235 and remodeled in the 16th century, this tower has an octagonal plan. It has been restored several times. The first level dates from the 13th century and has a structure made of bricks and sandstone blocks. The upper floors date from the 17th century. The large oak tree, which had stood there for several hundred years, fell to the ground in 1913 after being struck by lightning. Its stump is now protected by a small metal roof. The memorial stone dates from the 19th century, the Arbogast Chapel from 1955.
