Founded in 1989 and covering a spacious 700,000 square meters, the "Parc Archéologique Européen de Bliesbruck – Reinheim" doesn't just have the word "European" in its name because it sounds so nice and is intended to be effective advertising, but is in fact a piece of living Europe. This reddish-brown wooden bridge safely crosses the Blies River and connects the hiking trails on both sides of the border.
