We visited the cheese factory here and also explored the town center with its church, fountain, and arcades. We noticed the stone bridge not far from the church.

This former small town is now attached to the new town of Fillière. It is located at the foot of the Col de Glières and at the start of a magnificent road which runs through the balconies of Pramelan. There is a medieval castle from the 12th century.

Thônes is a charming village, with beautiful little shopping streets. Its privileged location has allowed it to develop over the centuries. Today, it welcomes nature lovers in summer and winter.
