3 hours to walk just around the lake, which you barely see due to the vegetation. The only access point to the lake is the small beach where dogs are allowed on a leash. This is completely out of line with the advertised duration. There's very little view of the lake, and a lot of trash on the route, half of which is a paved bike path. A good portion passes through squats, shantytowns, garbage dumps, and other signs of human activity with little respect for nature. A good portion runs along the highway. In short, it was a disappointment for us; we don't recommend this route.

Very beautiful footbridge over the lake

The Marais de Bruges nature reserve was created in 1983, in Gironde. It covers nearly 265 hectares, which are home to bocage meadows which change their appearance depending on the hygrometry (the level of humidity in the air). The visit is free, so explore the reserve’s trails!

The Blanquefort town hall is an administrative hub for the town. It occupies an essential place in a city renowned for its wine-growing heritage and its historic sites. In addition, it actively contributes to the conservation and enhancement of the cultural identity of Blanquefort.

This nature reserve is a real niche of biodiversity. It is a surprisingly preserved area for its urban location.

Pedestrian and cycle bridge 200 meters long which allows you to cross the Lake of Bordeaux. Breathtaking view of the lake.
