The town wall in Flörsheim-Dalsheim is a true gem of medieval architecture in Rheinhessen. Built at the end of the 15th century as a unified town fortification, it is now the only almost completely preserved medieval wall in the region. Particularly fascinating: The wall encircles the historic town center ("Flecken") and is approximately 1.2 kilometers long. Originally equipped with gates and a moat, it was partially redesigned in the 19th century. Lovingly restored between 1986 and 1990, it is now a popular destination for walks and guided tours. A real must-see for history buffs, cyclists, and anyone who wants to experience Rheinhessen at its most charming.

The Fleckenmauer (Flecken Wall) is the only completely preserved medieval town fortification in Rhenish Hesse. Its name comes from the historic site of "Flecken Dalsheim." It was probably built between 1470 and 1490. The wall, approximately 1,100 meters long, reaches a height of up to 10 meters and still contains all seven defensive towers. Today, the wall is accessible as part of guided tours or individually via the Obertorturm (open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.).

Lake Robern is an idyllic, artificial lake in the upper Seebach valley near Robern, a district of the municipality of Fahrenbach in the Neckar-Odenwald district. It was dammed in 1966 and is located in a nature reserve known for its diverse flora and fauna. The lake is approximately 150 meters long and 100 meters wide, providing a beautiful setting for hiking and relaxation.

Take a circular hike around Lake Robern – the trail is flat, about 3km long, and offers beautiful scenery and plenty of birdwatching opportunities. It's ideal for a relaxing break or a family outing.

Unfortunately in summer or when the sun is shining it is very crowded.

Gravel surface, but very easy to ride on. In summer, you can also cool off in the shade of the trees.
