Very nice place where you can also take a shower if you are bivouacking in the neighboring area. The team is young and very friendly, the food is excellent. Go for it!

A wonderful welcome at the Refuge des Clos, a short stop with an omelet and croque-monsieur. Excellent, I recommend it.

A very cozy inn with young, excellent cooks. A lovely place for a cup of coffee or a drink. You can also enjoy a delicious dinner. Choose a spot on the terrace or in the cozy indoor area. Also nice: staying in a private room or in the small dormitory. More info: www.auberge-du-savel.eatbu.com

Fantastic location for an overnight stay. There are small dormitories (bring a sleeping bag and a large pillowcase) and delicious food. Bivouacing is possible next to the hut. Tip: book well in advance during peak season. And the route across the Plateau d'Emparis is highly recommended!

This little "secret garden", as the managers of the refuge describe it, is located above Lake Chambon, in the Écrins. The refuge has a capacity of 19 places, divided into two dormitories and has dry toilets outside. You can also enjoy a catering service all day long.
