Trézence渓谷を見下ろす岬に孤立して建つサン・ピエール・ド・ピュイロラン教会の記念碑的な遺跡は、この美しい自然の景観の魅力を一層引き立てています。ロマネスク様式のポータルの質の高い彫刻と、内陣のゴシック様式の要素が並び、その魅力は見る者を惹きつけます。 伝説によれば、この丘はシャルルマーニュの甥であるローランドによって築かれたとされています。この地は、巡礼者や貧しい人々を受け入れるための修道院兼病院であった「メゾン・デュー」があったとされ、聖ロムアルドの修道士たちが住み、ロマネスク様式の教会が建てられました。12世紀初頭の最初の建造物の痕跡が残っており、特に西側ファサードの下部と、南北の壁にある2つの小さな細い窓が見られます。 百年戦争の後、建物は部分的に再建されました。平坦な後陣、ゴシック様式のトレーサリーを持つ窓、そして控え壁がこれらの工事の証です。宗教戦争によりさらなる破壊と部分的な再建が行われ、身廊の最初の2つのベイは閉鎖され、今日でも教区教会として使用されている質素な建物となりました。 18世紀と19世紀に行われた工事では、特に、2つの円形アーチ窓が開けられたファサードの高い鐘楼が追加されました。教会の廃墟となった部分は、90年代に統合と修復の工事が行われました。

Today, there remains the 16th century enclosure, which has been altered several times over the course of the wars.
