The Chouvigny gorges follow the Sioule river, which has carved a deep and narrow gorge through the volcanic rocks of the Combrailles region. You can also stop at the village of Chouvigny, which has a rich history and charming atmosphere.

The Sioule gorges extend from Ébreuil, passing through Chouvigny, and as far as the meander of Queuille, in the well of Puy-de-Dôme. The road, which winds through the rocks, offers magnificent views of the steep and verdant gorges.
